Greetings everyone!
Designing and guiding the construction of a spiritual space brings a unique sense of peace and profound purpose. On March 9, 2026, I had the immense privilege of traveling to Punjab to conduct a comprehensive site visit at the upcoming Khatu Shyam Ji Temple located in Jagraon, Ludhiana.
This project is a beautiful blend of devotion and structural precision, and witnessing it take shape on the ground was a truly fulfilling experience.
Structural Inspection and Progress
The temple construction is advancing steadily and is currently at a critical phase. The primary objective of this visit was to thoroughly inspect the structural framework as the site prepares for a major milestone: the casting of the final slab for the first floor.
Before such a crucial pour, it is imperative to ensure that every technical detail is flawless. I conducted a detailed examination of the RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) structure, checking the reinforcement and alignment to guarantee that the foundation and framework meet the absolute highest standards of safety, longevity, and architectural integrity.
Charting the Path Forward: Committee Discussions
Building a temple is not just an engineering task; it is an act of collective devotion. Following the site inspection, I sat down for a deeply engaging and detailed discussion with the honorable Temple Committee.
We charted out the comprehensive roadmap for the next phases of construction. Our dialogue covered essential architectural decisions, including:
Future Execution: Step-by-step guidance on how the temple's superstructure will be elevated.
Traditional Aesthetics: How we will seamlessly integrate traditional architectural elements and intricate detailing into the upcoming phases to capture the true spiritual essence of Khatu Shyam Ji.
Vastu & Spatial Flow: Ensuring the continued alignment of the building’s layout with sacred spatial principles to maximize positive energy for future devotees.
Moments of Dedication
As you can see in the captured moments below, the energy on-site is incredibly inspiring. The dedication of the committee members, the construction team, and everyone involved reflects a shared vision of creating a magnificent and enduring place of worship.
Guiding the structural and architectural journey of this divine space is a great honor. We look forward to seeing the first-floor slab successfully cast and moving one step closer to realizing this beautiful temple.
Stay tuned for more updates on our architectural journeys across India!
