Indian Architect is continuously working towards the conservation and development of religious and spiritual sites. Continuing this journey, Dr. Chandrashekhar from our team conducted a crucial site visit today to the Sanatan Dharam Mandir Bapudham (Phase-1, Block C, Sector 27, Chandigarh, 160019).
The primary objective of this special visit was to hold a detailed discussion with the honorable board of trustees regarding the renovation and overall development of this sacred temple.
Key Highlights of the Site Visit and Discussion:
40 Years of Legacy & a New Vision: This temple was built approximately 40 years ago according to the finest architectural patterns of that era. Keeping in mind the evolution of architecture over time and present-day requirements, a comprehensive outline for its renovation is now being drafted.
Enhanced Facilities for Devotees: During the meeting with the board of trustees, special emphasis was placed on how to make the temple premises even more magnificent and aesthetically pleasing. Furthermore, discussions focused on how to make the facilities more accessible, convenient, and well-organized for visiting devotees.
Development of a Comprehensive Master Plan: After a deep assessment of the site's current condition and all future needs, a new and modern 'Master Plan' is now being developed by Indian Architect for this entire renovation project.
The Way Forward:
It will be our utmost endeavor to provide a highly convenient and grand structure while completely preserving the original spiritual energy and ancient dignity of the temple. We will soon share more updates related to the design and further progress of this sacred project.
Jai Shri Ram!
